Lots of pictures to catch up. After San Francisco we headed on down to Monterey. Drove through some hot weather and then fair weather in Monterey. We stayed at the Fairgrounds. Good price, $50 compared to most of the rv sites around town for about $90 to $100.

We left Monterey Fairgrounds this morning and took Highway 1 along the coast. The scenery was beautiful along the way. Unfortunately Jack couldn't see any of it due to the winding road, cliffs and hills.

It appears they have made up for the hillside falling on to the road! Amazing.

This is Piers Blancas Light Station. Illuminated in 1875. Located 6 miles north of Hearst Castle.
