San Francisco sites...

After spending a fun day in the city yesterday, Jack and I heard the San Mateo County Fair was on...so off we went to the fair. Mom stayed in. Oh boy, this was a tiny fair. Beautiful quilts entered, probably the largest display there.

This was the vegetable entries.

Today we headed back to the city. Fog was still rolling around the Bay bridge this morning. The temperature did get up to 78 in SF today...

Beautiful day. The Farmers market was going on by the Ferry Building.

Then off to the Hop on Hop off bus tour.

Yes we are all having fun!

Cable cars lined up.

Architecture around the city is beautiful.

City Hall dome.

The statue at the top of the Dewey Monument. Alma Spreckles was the model for this.

Awww Chinatown and it's amazing sights. Octopus and ducks and chickens.

Jack fruit.

Lunch at The Bund. Dim sum, buns...

General Tso Chicken

Gates to Chinatown, gift from China in 1969.

Now remember yesterday I said the town of Colma is the dead capital? Well not exactly but 1500 residents and 1.5 million dead residents. Here are a few of the cemeteries Mom and I visited this afternoon...
