Back in the USA!

So after the beautiful scenery on Hwy 3 along the Canadian/US border, we decided we would head back to the USA. A stop at the border sent us to the Ag Check....nice woman came on board. Went through the fridge, cupboards. Took eggs (avian flu is back), tomatoes, my basil plant (kept the basil), and I ate the tangerines she was going to take.
We stopped at Grand Coulee Dam for a tour.
Finally we camped at Spokane Elks. This Elks had 12 sites, water & electric. Sunny but cool. We went in to downtown and saw the waterfall running thru the park. Then rode the gondola across it. Wow it is amazing. I will try to post the pictures. Right now it is 10:45 pm and I am just trying to catch up to our arrival in Coeur d'Alene. We are at the Elks. Really a great spot. Hoping to maybe see friends who have moved here. It is really cold tonight. Rain predicted tomorrow and then temps to head up.
