Final days in Olympia were spent seeing friends and getting ready to head up to Skagit Valley to view the tulips & enjoy the tulip festival.

Jack has not had long pants on for this many days straight in years. He is also wearing his Christmas present shoes to keep his feet warm and dry.

These are my childhood girlfriends. We lived in North Carolina when our Dad's were stationed at Cherry Point USMC. They both live in the Seattle area. We missed their brother, Kevin, at lunch.

Cherry blossom trees are blooming everywhere and are quite the sight to see...

Nanci took us to Lattin's. A local farm, where we fed the animals. Feeding goats is not my favorite. There were a number of babies running around too.

Dinner out at the Oyster House. YUMMY.

We are pulling away from the Rowe's. Last night we were in the 30's. As we pulled in the slides today, ice fell from the top. Looked like broken glass on the ground.
We pulled away from their house at 10 this morning. Sunny skies, for a change, heading to Skagit Valley about 135 miles away. Nanci and Tom are with us for a few days. Can't wait to go see the tulip fields!
