Catching up!

Out of Cody, Wy. is the Heart Mountain Internment Camp. We toured around checking out the area that once housed the Japanese detainees during WWII. We have toured Manzanar and this is similar. The exhibits inside the museum are more informative here. They have improved with each new camp museum they have opened. A group of 6th graders were touring along with us. They were so well behaved. I was really impressed.

We have been in Yellowstone for the last 5 days with no wifi, so I have not been able to post. Yellowstone was amazing. As we arrived at the Fishing Bridge Campground, the only one with full hook ups, we passed herds of bison. Some had calves too, so cute! When you drive thru the park you almost don't have to look for animals...just watch for crowds of people and/or cars parked along the edge...you will find something amazing to see. We saw bears with cubs, fox, coyote, antelope, elk, geese...kept looking for a wolf, but never did see one of those. By the 4th day if we saw a crowd stopped for bison it was like "oh just bison"....too funny. We loved seeing all the animals. We also toured most of the park. Yellowstone  has more geothermal activity than any where else in the world, 50% of the worlds geothermal activity is there! I really wish everyone had the opportunity to see this park. Our National Parks are such a treasure every American should try to explore.
Because I am using my phone to connect to the internet, I am going to add just a few pictures (I hope).
