Crazy Horse and Rapid City

Forward is rendering of what the completed mountain will look like and thru the arm is the head as it looks now.

Bentley with Crazy horse in the background.

Poster of the progress. I have to say, we all thought it didn't look much different than it did 10 years ago. Keep working!
In downtown Rapid City, SD they have a walk of the US Presidents. Every President is represented in a bronze statue. There are 2 streets where every corner has a president. Here are just a few.

Downtown has the Firehouse Brewery and winery. Pretty cool. Old Fire Station.

Last time Jack and I were here we went to dinner at the Alpine Inn in Hill City. It was July and packed. We waited for over an hour. A shop owner had suggested this spot, so we just waited. Once inside we discovered they have no menu because they only had 2 items on the menu: 6 oz filet or 9 oz filet. Comes with salad, baked potato and texas toast. Good thing neither of us were vegetarians! We wanted to come back here and bring mom. They have expanded, now there is a pasta choice too. Dinner was yummy!

We have headed back to Wyoming because another storm was headed toward South Dakota. More to come!
