Cody, Wy and it's still cold!

Yes we are still in the mud! Rain and cold. So glad we brought along 2 little heaters. They have been life savers! This photo is just a little bit of the mud that has accumulated under the car. Driving thru puddles has been a priority to get some of it off. Snow is very low down the mountains again.
We visited the Buffalo Bill Center of the west. Just amazing stuff in there!

Plains Indian exhibit. This is a bear claw necklace. Those claws are amazingly BIG!

If you can read this, it is exactly what happened to the Indians as the vision predicted.

After the Indians were put on reservations, they were put in square homes, given ration tickets for meat and vegetables.
Forbidden from practicing there ancestral ways and religions. The buffalo were decimated.

The women did most of the work around their encampments. This is a mom with her baby in the board riding a horse to the next camp. Women were responsible for taking care of the camp, setting up taking down and meals, meat drying, making blankets, all the bead work, tanning the hides. The bead work was amazing.

This is a hologram of Buffalo Bill...He speaks to you as you enter his section of the museum.

Annie Oakley outfit!

Queen Victoria is who gave him that Cherry wood bar in the Irma Hotel. This is a must see museum when in these parts.

There are buffalos all over town painted. They will be sold to benefit the hospital. Hoping to raise $500,000. We did think one would be a good addition to our garden, but we won't be here for the auction and no way to get it home.

This is in an art gallery. Look closely. The window section is a painting. Great spot.

Had lunch at the Silver Dollar bar. Ok burger.
